Why This Page Exists

Nepal Disasters, And The Equipment Behind The Response

Nepal experiences earthquakes, monsoon floods, landslides, glacial lake outburst floods, forest fires, house fires, avalanches and health emergencies. After each event, districts, municipalities, hospitals and agencies must procure response items quickly - from search and rescue gear to shelter, power, water and medical supplies.

DNB is not an emergency responder. DNB is the supply side of the response: item identification, certification, documentation and delivery for the relief items an institution actually needs.

  • Relief item lists built around the disaster type and your role in the response
  • Certification and standards matched to each equipment class
  • Documentation, authorization and compliance evidence included
  • Delivery planning for the districts that need the items

Our role: We support the supply side of disaster response procurement : product identification, manufacturer coordination, documentation and delivery. We do not run relief operations or make aid distribution decisions.
