Capability

Work At Height, Rope Access & Fall Protection

Work at height equipment for rope rescue, industrial access, technical rescue and fall protection - sourced against the requirement and delivered in Nepal.

This equipment is specified for the job it will be used on, and the specification is unforgiving: a harness, a lanyard or an anchorage device is only as good as the standard it was built to and the way it is used. DNB does not manufacture this equipment. We identify the product and the applicable standard from your requirement, source it from a manufacturer who can document it, and coordinate the technical file.

Where a standard applies - EN 361, EN 358, EN 355, EN 360, EN 362, EN 341, EN 353, EN 354, EN 1891, EN 12278, EN 12275, NFPA or UIAA among others - we show that standard against the specific product it is documented for. We will not put a certification badge across a whole category, and we will not claim a rope, carabiner or harness meets a standard we have not seen a document for.

Demand in Nepal comes from search and rescue teams, disaster response organizations, fire and emergency services, rope-access and industrial maintenance teams, hydropower and infrastructure projects, construction, and government and institutional procurement. We are not claiming to supply any named organization, and we do not publish invented deployments, client references or project quantities.

How DNB Handles A Requirement

  1. Requirement received - tender document, BOQ, specification or a written brief.
  2. We interpret the specification and identify the product type and required attributes.
  3. Manufacturer and supplier sourcing, including sample and authorisation coordination.
  4. Technical matching, documentation, import and procurement handling.
  5. Delivery in Nepal, with after-sales coordination where the requirement calls for it.

Product Areas

Emergency & Rescue Structure

The eight areas below are how this capability is organised. A product that genuinely belongs to more than one area appears through related products and filtering rather than as a duplicate record.

Powered Equipment

What We Match On Powered Rescue Gear

Powered ascenders and hauling devices carry the specifications that decide whether they suit a rescue system. Where a requirement calls for powered equipment, these are the attributes we ask the manufacturer to document for the model being quoted.

We do not invent these figures. If a manufacturer has not published a specification, we will not estimate it, and we will tell you the data is unavailable rather than filling the gap.

  • Safe working load and maximum load
  • Lifting speed
  • Rope compatibility and rope diameter range
  • Battery voltage and capacity
  • Operating range and charging time
  • IP rating
  • Weight
  • Operating temperature range
  • Emergency stop function
  • Remote-control range and applicable standards

Standards We Work From

Where a technical standard is relevant to a product, we display the exact standard the manufacturer documents for that model.

Frequently encountered in this category

CE · EN 341 · EN 353 · EN 354 · EN 355 · EN 358 · EN 360 · EN 361 · EN 362 · EN 12275 · EN 12277 · EN 12278 · EN 12841 · EN 1891 · NFPA · UIAA · ANSI

How we treat compliance

A standard on a product page means the manufacturer documented that product against it. It does not mean every product in the category meets it.

  • We do not display a generic "CE Certified" badge across a category.
  • We do not generalise one model's certification to the rest of a range.
  • We do not state that a rope, carabiner or pulley meets a standard without a document for that model.
  • Where documentation does not exist, we say so - it protects your tender response.

Request This Product

Send us the requirement and the specification or document you already hold. Name the product, the quantity, and the rope type or standard the system has to work with - technical clarification continues by email, so there is no long form to complete. We will identify a documented model, confirm availability and return a quotation.
